About Me

I build awesome teams, automate the boring stuff, and help people without college degrees improve their careers.

While working with a startup real estate investment firm, John had a bit of sticker shock at the price of a website.

What do you mean I can’t do it myself?  Who is going to stop me?

After launching several projects, John took the leap to start his own web design and development firm, mostly implementing WordPress.

John stopped bidding on short term web projects and began developing much more complex web applications and software systems for existing clients.   This shift in focus resulted in supporting the technology needs of multiple startups through their growth phases.

Years of sitting in on leadership and strategy meetings with startups gave me a unique opportunity to see first hand what works and what doesn’t.

A veteran of the medical records and industrial chemical manufacturing industries, John began consulting for companies like Pureous, RPS Environmental Solutions, Solterra, GoCommercial, and Believe

John was then recruited by Fujitsu where he began to hire and build teams, turn around struggling service desks, manage a team of SalesForce trainers, develop network monitoring software.  John was also the founding developer of the Robotic Process Automation team and Fujitsu Digital Workforce consulting practice.

After six years in the Fortune 500 as a developer, trainer, and automation consultant, John left that world to teach.   He now designs continuing professional education classes for Texas CPAs and modernizes their delivery methods.  By night, John teaches coding and IT certifications at the local community college.
